This project is so simple that you dont even need to know how to decrease stitches. It would be a great starter amigurumi for a Beginner since it does involve some basic increases and changing yarn color. A nice little scrap buster, too, as it requires so little yarn. If youre a Ravelry member, the pattern is available as a free download, too.

This is so cute to make for newborns as a first baby for them! I'm one that believes all kids, no matter what their gender, needs a baby to love, and someone to talk to! This will be made several times I'm certain for charity by me! Thanks!

This is a really cute and easy pattern, very adaptable to change. I used a 50% cotton yarn because it wears and washes better (like Lion Brand Cotton Ease or TLC Brand Cotton Plus) and a G hook. You need to use whatever hook gives you a nice tight stitch. The pattern looks fine as is, especially for younger babies. I used a piece of thin ribbon for the little bow. It was adorable!
