Super Plush Crochet Infinity Scarf

I haven't made this one yet, but now it's on my must make list. The crocheter made hers using a wool yarn and that will make this one a extra warm but breathable scarf. The written pattern is well done and so easy to understand. I'm looking forward to making this one and hope someone doesn't walk off with it like most of my infinity scarfs have. I love the fax knit look.. Thank you so much for sharing this free Infinity Scarf pattern.

Your half double crochets are worked into the back, third loop, to create the faux ribbed knit look portrayed here. It does look lux and quite expensive. No updates needed with this one as it is great as is. If you can help it use the yarn indicated and do not downgrade( i wouldn't) to a worsted weight because it will probably cheapen the look of the scarf.

This scarf works for both men and women, so ladies, either make one for your guy or be prepared for this one to be stolen! Because you start with a Foundation Half Double, its nearly impossible to twist like you could with a chain. The rest is regular Half Double, but after the initial row, you work it in the 3rd stitch. Just in case you dont know exactly where that is, the designer provides an excellent tutorial.

I love the look of infinity scarfs, but I honestly have never made one. This looks like it would be perfect for my first one, and the design looks simple enough that it can be worn with any style. It could also be made in different colors or with different texture yarns.
