Dragonfy Poncho for 18
"This dragonfly poncho is designed for your favorite 18" doll. It matches the child and adult size poncho in a separate post and makes an adorable dolly and me set! The poncho is designed in self striping yarn and has cute little dragonflies scattered throughout. I added a bit of fringe for a retro feel and look. This is an easy project crocheted in two rectangles that are then joined to form the traditional pointy shape."
Crochet HookI/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Oh my gosh, this is so cute. I just have to make it for my grand daughter and her favorite doll. I think it's an 18" but I will double check as it maybe bigger. It's one of the American doll series dolls. I can look it up on line because I want this to be a surprise. I know she will love having a matching set. Thank you!

Ive made several items using the dragonfly motif, and it is so much easier than it looks. I dont have any granddaughters who are fans of this particular doll series, but I know at least one of my senior students does. Ill pass this pattern along to her to see if she wants to work it by herself, or if she thinks she might need a little help. If so, Ill make it a class project.
