Cotton yarn and scrubby yarn are all the materials you will need for this project other than a hook. I know scrubby yarn has been around for a while, but I have to admit that I have never bought any of it to use. I have always found it to be a little too expensive for the amount of yarn you get. Just wondering if it is worth the cost and is it easy to use?

These scrubby dishcloths are so handy if not beautiful. They are least likely to cause damage to your dishes but still get them clean. I think this flower scrubby is very pretty and would be attractive hanging in the kitchen waiting to be used.

Making your own dishcloths help save money but are also so much more attractive then store bought ones. This pattern is easy to follow and will make washing dishes so fun.

This little flower scrubby is too cute to be used to scrub those disgusting greasy dishes. I would be heart broken if it were to get dirty because it is such a cute crochet item. However, we all need a little sunshine and beauty in the kitchen and this is just the ticket. Maybe I could make two and have one just for decor.

This is such a useful pattern. I usually knit with the scrubby yarn since I can't see the stitches but you only add it in the middle which should not be difficult. I have plenty of cotton yarn since I make my own dishcloths. This will work up quickly. It can be easily washed. So practical and pretty! Thank you.

I really like this cute Flower Scrubby Dishcloth. I have a hard time working with the scrubby yarn and this pattern has just enough in the center making a great dishcloth and scrubby in one. This pattern is well written and easy to understand. Thank you for sharing this free crochet pattern that every kitchen needs.

I like this different way of making a kitchen scrubby. You use regular cotton for the entire flower, then you add your scrubby yarn to the center and begin crocheting in the center, working out. This will allow you to gently wash your china with the cotton and then use the center to scrub your stuck on food. It will do double duty! These make great housewarming gifts and for your kids going away to college.
