I tried this pattern,i think there is an error as i started row 1 on the required number of stitches and followed instructions and there were at least 12 chains left. this happened 3 times and a double-checked number of stitches each time and had 53 ch as given in the pattern. Do you have an updated version of this pattern please?

This is one of the best baby dresses ever. The Butterfly Kisses Baby Dress pattern is well written and so easy to follow. You can change up the look with just using different yarns, and it only takes 300 yards, so great. I think any mom will be proud to see her little girl in a dress like this. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

Little girls are so fun to dress up. This basic a-line dress is adorable and the butterfly embellishment is too cute for words. A very Spring looking dress and would be an adorable outfit to dress baby in for the upcoming Mothers Day weekend. Mom would be so proud to see her baby in this.

I agree, this is a very easy baby dress to make. I am doing a girl's dress with a more complicated design and in comparison, this dress is really just a walk in the park. Here's the link to the pattern http//crochetzone.com/2015/03/29/free-crochet-patt == ern-for-butterfly-kisses-baby-dress/

such an easy pattern! Wish I could find more for toddler/young girl sizes. Since I'm only a beginner level, my choices are so limited! #BestIdeaEver

I am fairly new to crocheting and I made this dress in two days. It was very easy and turned out beautifully. Thanks for the pattern.
