Crochet Pumpkin Pixie Bonnet
If you don't want to dress your baby up in an uncomfortable costume, or just want to bring the Halloween spirit into the regular weekday, work up this Crochet Pumpkin Pixie Bonnet for a modern take on a pumpkin costume. This hat is perfect for a baby because of its adjustable tie, allowing room for growth, and its ear flaps, which are held down and will not slip and slide on your baby's head. If you decide you want it in a different color, no problem! This shell stitch bonnet looks great in any solid color or color combination you can imagine.

I have a new granddaughter due in October, so this little Pixie bonnet will be just in time for her arrival. Ive always been a fan of bonnets on baby girls, and bemoaned the fact that there doesnt seem to be an equally cute fashion for the boys. About the only time Ive seen bonnets for boys was as part of a christening outfit.

This pixie bonnet is so cute! My nephew is due in October, the perfect time to wear a hat like this one. I am so excited to meet him, I cant wait. I keep finding things to make for him, and this hat will definitely be added to my list.
