Crochet Monster Baby Bibs
Monsters Inc. was the first movie to show monsters in a cute and funny light instead of a scary, ready to eat you one. These Crochet Monster Baby Bibs are reminiscent of that kind of monster, too, so these are perfect for your baby not only during the month of October, but all year round. The bibs would be a cute gift for a baby shower, especially if the parents are waiting to know the sex of the baby. These bibs can be customized with colors, teeth number, and googly eye position. Any combination will look adorable as your own little monster is munching away.

This is one of the best basic bib shapes Ive found. Even if you dont opt for the monster motif, you can customize it any way you want. The designer gives the option of either using a button closure or Velcro. I personally would NOT use VelcroIve had bad experiences with that product in the wash no matter how Ive tried to shield it.

Adorable! What a cute idea! I choose the colors just the way they are shown. I have seen all kinds of baby bibs and they pretty much all look very traditional. But not these. If you want a unique baby shower gift just whip up a pair of these in a weekend most likely. It uses basic stitches like single, double and triple crochets. Easy-peasy!

I love these, they are really easy to make and so you can make loads and customise them with how you place the eyes and number of teeth etc to have a whole army of monsters. I made them using pastel colours to match a pastel multi coloured baby blanket that I made for my new nephew. I have made a couple of adjustments such as using Velcro rather than buttons to make them easier to put on and take off baby.
