Super Ghoster Coasters
Super Ghoster Coasters are exactly what they sound like - ghost coasters for Halloween! If you're having a party this season, you definitely don't want people just setting their drinks down willy nilly. Things can get out of hand pretty quickly if you don't have designated spots for people to set their glasses! Avoid any hassle with these fun and decorative Halloween ghost coasters. If you wanted to get away from traditional white, you could make a few different colors so people know which one is theirs or add an accent somehow.

I see that these are designed as coasters but I can see these as garlands also. However that is just a thought. Because of the finished size of nine by four it may not be doable. Nothing beats a failure but a try.

I would have never thought to sew these together to make a mini ghost. That is a great idea ittykay. I like this as coasters as much as the mini ghost idea. As of today, I will have to put this on the back burner for next year as I would have no use for these as Halloween is only a couple days away.

This is a fast and fun pattern. Made two of them, whip stitched together and added poly fill before closing. Result? Grandson has a "friendly" ghost mini pillow!

Great idea. I made a set of coasters years ago in a pumpkin shape. I think they need to be retired and these spooky little guys brought out. They are different and I like them. Maybe a few more may find their way onto a mobile hanging over the buffet table too!

I am obsessed with all things Halloween. I tend to go for the darker side of the holiday, though. If I were still hosting kid's parties, I would make use of these ghosts by attaching a fun novelty lollipop to each ghost. Maybe by making one or two tiny loops on the back (top and bottom), that would work well. Then, the recipient could use the ghost as a finger puppet, too! Hey! I just came up with my own idea!

I wont be using these as coasters, but I will be using these for decorations! Im going to make up several using different sized hooks (so Ill have a variety of sizes), and make some ghosts facing right and some left. Then Im going to stiffen them and use fishing line to hang them on my front porch. Theyre light enough to move in the breeze, but durable enough to last through some weather.

Love these! These would be great for your Halloween party to protect your furniture surfaces. You could also give them away as party favors. Everyone would definitely remember YOUR Halloween party! Make a bunch and string them into a banner for your mantel, windows, or hang them down from your dining room light over your table.
