Tamara Kelly

Tamara Kelly has always loved crafting and making things, and finally picked up crochet in 2002, just as soon as she could find someone to teach her to chain and single crochet. Yarn crafting soon became Tamara's favorite hobby, and she started designing simple patterns a few years later. In 2009, she added knitting to her skills and wrote a few knit patterns as well.

In 2011, Tamara finally decided to start a dedicated website for her yarn work and patterns, and she has been designing ever since. In between writing and designing for Moogly, Tamara also does custom commission work and takes care of my three children - occasionally crafting for them as well.

Hi again do you do video or tutorials for you pattern if you don't then I think you should not everyone can follow a pattern as for me only if is easy but I follow better by seeing it being done then in the pattern. you do great work and I just recently found you thanks for being there for us. newbes

On your mediterannean tote, is there a video that I can look at? I looked at the written instructions, and I got confused right off the bat. It helps me when I am actually looking at the project being done.

Kelly, I am having problems copying the Fortune Shawlette. I used the green "friendly printer" button but it only wants to print page 1. Then I tried sending it to my e-mail and it did the same thing. I hope you can help because it looks like a beautiful pattern. Thank you!!

Thank you for sharing your patterns...I have been crocheting blankets since my teen years... I now do hats to go with some blankets. I donate most of what I make to Veteran Hospitals in my area.. This past year I have been browsing for new things to do. Just wanted to tell you that I like your work. I will be trying the octopus , It's cute.. Thanks again !

It seems to me that you would have just a strait forward pattern without having to print 1000 pages and wasting all of that paper and ink..

Hello Tamara, I was just wondering if you have a simple pattern for a sweater I would love to be able to make for my 18mo Grand-Daughter. I have seen a few on different sites but they just seem to be too complicated for me. I am in no way a professional crocheter but I can do something that is for either beginners or easy. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Christine

I bought Tamara's pattern for Sven sweater. I is a wonderful sweater and the pattern was written so well I had not difficulty following it. and I am new at following patterns. I just crocheted it for a baby shower I went to. I paid I think $3.99 for a download.
