This sweet bonnet couldnt be easier. It works up flat using bulky yarn, and even the assembly is a snap. I think it took me longer to crochet the little roses than make the bonnet itself. Its versatile, too, as you can customize it for either a boy or girl. A great scrap buster is you have some bulky yarn lying around.

What a precious little bonnet for that new little angel. It is so old school, you just don't see a lot of bonnet patterns that bring back when I was a child. This pattern and the bulky yarn has made it modern also. I will be making this bonnet very soon. It will be an adorable addition to those first photo's

I tried to use soft yarn I had and increase stitches..Had no luck! Could you please post this baby hat pattern using soft yarn? I have so much yarn , but not the soft chunky yarn for this hat. Thank you.
