Baby in Bloom Bonnet
The Baby in Bloom Bonnet goes great paired with a fancy little sweater or dress. You can even pair it with the Baby in Bloom sweater, also by Tamara. The lacy fabric of the baby crochet hat will keep baby's head cool and the ribbon allows you to personalize the design. You can easily make this hat using only one skein of yarn.

This is a challenging project if youve never worked broomstick lace. It calls for both a J hook and a separate dowel or oversized knitting needle which you may not have handy. If youre up to it, theres a link to an instructional video on Broomstick Lace, and I highly recommend watching it just as a refresher. This airy bonnet is perfect when you want fashion over warmth.

What a lovely bonnet, worked in a multicolored yarn. But as shown in the photo, this bonnet will look even more stylish when worn with the matching sweater. Here's the link to the pattern http//www.mooglyblog.com/baby-in-bloom-bonnet-free == -crochet-pattern-newborn-cardigan/

Wow, great timing, my 4 year old grand daughter was just asking me to make her a bonnet. I love the look of the broom stick lace pattern. Thank you so much for this bonnet pattern, I need to make it for her for Easter! May make one for myself as well..
