Sara Sach

Sara Sach is the designer behind Posh Pooch Designs and a mother of 2 grown kids. She has 2 grandbabies and two chihuahuas. She began crocheting about 25 years ago from books she got at the local library - she learned to knit too, but did not love it like crochet. About 2 years ago, Sarah rescued a Chihuahua, Maximo, who was always cold, so Sara decided to crochet him some sweaters. Then she got another chihuahua, Rosie Bell, who she continues to crochet sweaters, hats, blankets and things for them. As she worked, other people started wanting her to make things for their dogs, so Sara's husband and son encouraged her to start a web page to sell the sweaters and items she was making.

Then, Christmas of 09 was coming and she decided to start a Facebook business page to see if she could earn a little Christmas money, which went super well. After that, Sara's daughter Elisabeth told her she needed to start a blog where she could give away free crochet patterns for fun and also talk about her business and the antics of the dogs. Sara's dogs are her models and inspire her to design and create fun crochet items, as well as useful items, and give her a reason to continue with her yarn addiction.

I love to crochet and have 4 chihuahuas. My children are grown and have their own family now. I learned to crochet a granny afghan from you tube and cannot stop. I love to learn new stitches and patterns and am fascinated when I'm finished with something. Thanks for all the patterns and designs you put out there. Much appreciated.
