Sharon Ojala

Sharon Ojala taught herself to crochet watching YouTube tutorials in Oct. 2010. While desperately searching for a way to make her son a Sackboy for Christmas, Sharon stumbled upon a step-by-step video tutorial and it's been a crochet love affair ever since! Not only did her son get his beloved Sackboy for Christmas, Sharon also learned to crochet in the process. And shortly thereafter, she began making her own patterns.

Being so grateful for the gift she's been given, she wants to help others make amigurumi. She now has a website called Amigurumi To Go where she shares free patterns and tutorials. Sharon also has a Facebook page called Amigurumi Freely, which keeps growing every day. Sharon gets messages all the time starting with, “If only I knew how to crochet..." , and it was reading those messages which prompted her to make YouTube tutorials. She makes videos for the beginner, for those who have never made amigurumi before.

HI SHARON I HAVE VIEWED YOUR HOW TO TIE GLASS MARBELS . CAN U TELL ME IF THIS WILL WORK ON A 10 INCH FISHING FLOAT. IF SO HOW MUSH 1/4 INCH ROPE WILL IT TAKE AND HOW LONG WILL THE 8 CUT ROPE BE.

Look at your Homemade Obession, good way to use up left over yarn, thinks for trying to made things understandable. Looking foward to trying the doll for my grandchildren
