This is a great idea for a table runner, and Im glad to see it on the coffee table rather than in the dining room. The entire project looks a bit dated, but I have a feeling thats exactly why my senior ladies will like it. I love the pumpkin granny squares and have an idea for another project just using those. Theres a video for the runner project, too.

The colors selected here sure do scream fall. Is there a name for the "stitch" pattern? I love the way the open design is worked up as the colors change. The additions at the end of the runner really put the deisgn over the top.
