Learn how to crochet a scrubbie to use in your kitchen with this easy-to-follow video tutorial from Heidi Gustad. This takes just 3 rounds to complete and uses special scrubby yarn to make a durable and cheap alternative to store-bought scrubbers.

Because you're essentially just crocheting a flat circle, you can continue the pattern if you want to make it even bigger by simply increasing at the same rate as you've been doing. If you're confused about how to increase the size of your scrubbie pattern, watch the video as Heidi explains the math involved.

    Easy

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

    Pattern

    1. Start with a magic ring.

    2. Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc). Make 9 dc in the ring. Close up your magic ring, then join with a slst to the third chain. (10 sts)

    3. Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc). Make 2 dc in each single stitch stitch around. Join with a slst to the third chain. (20 sts)

    4. Round 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), then 2 dc into the next stitch. *Dc into the next stitch, 2 dc into the next. Repeat from * around. Join with a slst to the third chain. (30 sts)

    5. Bind off and weave in your ends.

This is a cute little Crochet Scrubbies pattern! So easy to whip up a lot of these in no time. Every kitchen can use a good scrubby and this pattern is so easy. There is a step by step video to help if you need it. You can make a lot of these and put them in a nice jar to give as a gift. I do have a problem using the scrubby yarns, I find they tear up my finger, you know the one the yarn rubs it. I have had a raw finger the first time I used this yarn. So I'm looking for a good way to use this yarn without the bad rub effect. Any ideas would would be great. Thank you for sharing this free crochet scrubby pattern.
