This is what I was looking for for the farmers market. A lot of the reusable bags just don't measure up to what my expectations were for the farmers market. Alas, the days of the market have past but I will be ready for the next season.

This is the perfect fruit tote. Instead of putting my oranges and apples in those little plastic bags that get trashed, this is the perfect option. These are reusable and the right size for my shopping. I am not all that crazy about it for all of the other grocery items though.

Definitely make this bag using cotton yarn. Can you imagine all the different colors you'd have to choose from? I think the cotton would hold up better and be WASHABLE to boot. When you are using it for produce you would want to be able to wash the bags as needed. It is cute!
