Mediterranean Market Tote

My favorite thing about big tote bags is they can be used for pretty much anything. This Mediterranean Market Tote (named after the beautiful, bold colors) can be used as a grocery bag at the farmer's market, or carried as an over-sized purse. This particular crochet bag pattern calls for 7 different colors, but if you skip the stripes, you can make it using only 3 skeins of yarn. If you do crochet the stripes, you'll only need less than 50 yards of each color, so this crochet tote is also a great stash buster project, too.

Wow! This Mediterranean Market Tote is amazingly beautiful! I have to confess that I'm no where near at the intermediate level of crocheter to be able to make this one. But because I really, really like it I am placing it on my "try later" list and I will continue to work on my skill level. After all, a woman has to have something to work toward, right?

The pattern is great. The design is beautiful and I love the colors. This is definitely going on my list of gifts to make for this Christmas. It will be here before you know it. My to do list just keeps getting longer and longer. I keep seeing all of these great designs. I hope I can make them all.

Initially I struggled a bit with the pattern but perhaps that is because I am perhaps more of a Beginner that Intermediate chocheter, lol! Once I got it worked out in my head it was quite easy, I am really happy with the finished product and quite sad that I can not get my photo to upload. I used 3 colors, only because that is what I had in my stash, and I just love it! Will definitely use this really nice pattern again.
