Hi, Can this bag be made with self-striping yarns?

Hi amaeli2406 0327510, this bag could be made with self-striping yarns to avoid switching colors every row. Keep in mind that if you use self-striping yarn, the stripes will most likely not be as uniform, and it will be a slightly different finished look. I hope that helps! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

I have always loved crochet bags. I have a few store brought ones which I have had for years. However, I will be making this bag for me. It will be a great bag for this summer. Thanks

Glad to see the material list was updated to this pattern. The grab n go bag looks like the perfect bag for my busy lifestyle. I like the way the strap / handle ties into a knot or pretty bow of your choice instead of the standard tote handle you see on all the other bags. Love the rainbow of colors. This could be made up with leftover scrap yarns that I have.

There are no materials listed. Am I supposed to assume that I use Lily & cream?? Would it work with 4 ply yarn??

I am still very new to this and have a difficulty understanding the abbreviations in the instructions. Is there anywhere I can find a key to help me as I would really like to make a crochet bag

for benesterbatta - On the left hand side of the webpage, go to the category called "Basics". In the middle of the page, there is a link for Crochet Abbreviations. I believe this will help you. Also, the video tutorials are great. I have used the one for changing yarn colors. Being able to see it demonstrated with good explanations is great. Good luck! I know you will make a beautiful bag! I have not made this yet, but look forward to using up some scrap yarn on this project.
