Interesting to know that the yarn will have to be cut several times to maintain the gradient of the yarn. I am not sure if I am up to the challenge of that. I may just select another yarn in a solid as this yarn is only in the "rainbow" variety. Or I can just take my changes with where the colors wind up.

I can see this as a swim suit cover up but it is stylish enough to wear anytime. I have not ever worked with the Red Heart It's a Wrap Rainbow yarn. I see that it is a acrylic cotton blend in a fine/sport weight. This will be a lightweight item indeed.

Oh, I gotta try making this one. I need this. Do you know that for vertically challenged girls, a long duster length is the most flattering length? It elongates the body, legs. This is perfect for wearing over a long line line tank top and some leggings. Each yarn cake is well over 600 yards, so it goes a long way! I bet you could make a cropped version using just one cake. Thank you for sharing this for us!
