I had never heard of the Roll Stitch and since one of the commenters stated how much she hated it, well, that just piqued my curiosity no end. After reading through the designers description, I thought it sounded an awful lot like the Boullion Stitch, a special bug a boo of my own. I looked it up, and sure enough, it seems to be the same stitch after all, just a rose by a different name.

I love the way this pattern looks when it is finished; however, I hate doing the roll stitch.

I hear you. This stitch takes infinite patience and concentration, and is definitely NOT something you can speed through.
