F-Bomb Gag Gift
"I noticed this morning that these f bombs were trending so I thought it would be a fun pattern to design. This pattern works up very quickly and can be completed in a couple hours. It is very easy to make. I think this f bomb would make a great gag gift. Crochet items are typically super cute or pretty so it's fun to make something different for a change. I used H/5mm and 4.5 mm crochet hooks, poly fil and worsted weight yarn in gray, white & red."
Crochet Hook4.5 mm hook, H/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

I understand the concept of gag gift and I am not sure if this would fit into that category. I can understand the need for an F bomb and being able to have one to hurl when necessary would be an asset even if the gift was meant as a gag. I need to make several of these, lol.

I need one of these on my home office desk. I work from home and I am a customer service representative. Our client is a major big box store and I can get some really crazy calls. Being able to take a look at this on my desk may just make me smile when I really want to do something else.

I honestly cant remember where I first saw this idea, but Ive been working up these gag gifts for a couple of years. Other than the ubiquitous Hacky Sack, there arent many crochet projects that appeal to men, especially young men. Ive sold or given away several. Do pay attention to how she works her letter F though. Very nice photo tutorial.

I must say, this one made me laugh out loud. 5 stars for originality. -) even though I am not a big fan of work that I have to piece together, it seems this pattern is not difficult at all. It would be worth it to give as your white elephant gift exchange. You can say that NOBODY else has anything quite like it!

It's not hard. The most fiddly part is sewing on the letter. I made my first few right before the last Presidential election, and got a lot of requests for more right after. )
