Interrupted Star Stitch Scarf
If you're reading this, then you likely have created more than a few crochet scarves over the years. So, what do you do if you need to create a scarf, but your go-to pattern just feels kind of dull? That's where the Interrupted Star Stitch Scarf is to the rescue! Featuring the well-known crochet star stitch, this pattern is easy to create row after row in a pattern that's completely distinct. If you want to add even more flair to the design, then the blogger has noted that you can modify this pattern into an infinity scarf.

The name of this project is a bit of a misnomer. The Star Stitch itself is NOT interrupted. You work the two rows as usual to form a complete Star Stitch. But instead of continuing on, the designer has you then work two rows of a Lattice Stitch. Thats where the Interrupted part comes in and gives the scarf added interest. Both stitch rows are worked across the width so the length is up to the crafter.
