From the blogger: "These flowers made with crochet hearts would be a beautiful addition to a card or gift. They’re perfect for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or anyone’s birthday! Finished size: flower is about 2” in diameter and 4-1/2” tall. Materials: cotton crochet thread size 10 and crochet hook size 4/2 mm. You need to make 5 or 6 medium hearts for the flower petals, 1 or 2 small hearts for the leaves. Also, you will need to make a Flower Center and Stem. Enjoy your flowers!"

So beautiful but very tedious to make especially when the small sized yarn is used. But actually this is very exciting to make, very challenging.

Aww aren't these the cutest things? And so very easy to make. They will look great on the purses I crochet or on my kitchen towels that I give as presents. Who wouldn't want one of these? My biggest problem is which one to make first and then who to give it too.

Im a member of our tatting group at the senior center, and the teacher always acknowledges our birthday with a card decorated with tatted designs. Thats exactly what these flowers reminded me oflovely embellishments on a handmade card. Theyre wonderful appliqus on their own, but on a card or even as framed art, they could be enjoyed all year round.
