This chunky blanket looks so warm! I am thinking it will work up really quickly, with chunky yarn and an M hook. I am sure anyone you make this for would love it, because you made it. You can customize this any way you want. I have some yarn I would like to use for this pattern, but I am not sure I will have enough. I will have to look and decide if I want to use the yarn I have or buy some new!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I absolutely love the looks of this chunky blanket pattern! It looks cozy, warm and contemporary. The artist has thought of everything with the directions being written for five different sizes. There are a slew of colors of this yarn to choose from so that will probably be the most difficult part of this whole project...just deciding the color...might call for several of these in different colors.

Excellent, well written and easy pattern, several sizes from infant to king (US size) bed blanket (I'm working on the queen size). One important note for those reading the info above - the actual pattern calls for a M/9mm crochet hook, NOT the 9 or 1.4mm (steel) hook noted in the above info) Give it a go for the perfect mindless crochet pattern that yields a stunner cosy blanket!
