I made this Turtle photo prop for my little niece and it came out great. The pattern is well written and easy to follow, and it works up quick. The pictures help a lot with the assembly of the pieces and I was so amazed how it really looks like a turtle. Had a bunch of fun making it, love doing things that are different.

Ive seen this pattern before (probably on Pinterest) and Id love to give it a try especially since its ranked as easy. The pattern says to use worsted weight yarn, which is the most common yarn, but Id like to look into using a softer yarn. Ive never cared for the texture of worsted weight yarn (most of it feels rough or scratchy). I might also try a darker green.
