Cute floppy brimmed hat. Since this hat is supposed to be a summer hat, I think I would prefer to make mine using cotton yarn and not necessarily to make the brim less floppy but to make it a little cooler in this tropical climate that I live in and this could be embellished with so many different flowers.

This is an easy, adorable hat. I made it in an oatmeal color with black trim and used a pretty black and gold button for the center of the flower. I get lots of compliments on it. Love it!!!

A magic circle is used instead chaining and joining. it's great because it doesnt leave a hole to sew up!
