Sweet as Candy Crochet Granny Square
If you and your dentist agree that you have a sweet tooth, then the Sweet as Candy Crochet Granny Square is for you. The whimsical easy crochet pattern is almost good enough to eat, as it features a crochet background pattern that’s about as light as cotton candy and a design in the center that resembles a wrapped candy. This crochet granny square can be adhered to the exterior of a glass candy jar and then presented as a gift to the sweetest person in your life. Consider using other yarn colors to create additional granny squares with this pattern.

I may have enough time to make a couple of these to decorate during the Halloween season. Being in the midst of a neighborhood teaming with young ones, I still get a kick out of decorating for that holiday. Kids always make everything more fun.

The picture here of the sweet as candy crochet granny square gave me a great idea. This would be a great "seasonal" addition when making anything candy related in the color of the season. This could easily become part of a Halloween candy bag or decor around the home. Thank you for the free pattern.

This is such a cute idea, and I was so glad to see its one part of a series because if it wasnt already, I was planning to suggest it! The square is worked with the pink center already in place, and the twists are added separately. The author offers a link to some of the other granny squares in this series, and theres even a video to go along with the pattern. The link is sadly dead nowrepost maybe? Very cute idea for a baby blanket!

I just saved this quicker than you can say Willie Wonka! Thus is my Christmas theme every year. Candy. I have candy lights, ornaments, and dishes. This would be so great to go with all of that. Either as a table runner, pillow cover or afghan. The only change will be the color to a bright red.thank you for posting this.
