I can imagine this mandala square being made into a huge blanket or afghan. The colors used are ok for me, I can use the colors as is. Love the dark pink in the center and the baby blue at the sides

The color is off on this picture for me but the design is beautiful. I think it is the use of the yellow/green yarn that just does not give this design its due justice. I am currently collecting these 12 x 12 squares and I have added this one to the collection. I can not wait to make all of them after I collect a few more.

Wow. I love this granny square magic spike mandala. I am impressed that the finished dimensions are 12 x 12. Making the square larger means making fewer squares but the squares take a little longer to make though. At any rate, the possibilites are endless with this magic spike.

I have been looking to crochet a mandala square and this would be perfect. It may even work in the poncho I saved earlier that uses granny square.
