Written in American Crochet Terms with a simple pattern repeat, it is easy enough for even a beginner to make. Paired with the Soft Waves Baby Bonnet and matching Baby Ballet Flats it makes a perfect set for gift giving."

This pattern for the Soft Waves Baby Afghan has been around for ages, My Great Grandmother In-Law made every new child a afghan just like this. She didn't share the pattern but after she passed away, the Grandchildren kept coming. I took the ones I had and just copied the stitches and made up the pattern and this is it. I love this pattern, it works so well and is one that will be passed down. I happy to see that others are making this soft waves baby afghan still today. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
