I have to agree with the designer, this is ridiculously simple and anyone can make it. I think that this crochet necklace is unique and a great last minute gift to a fashion forward female.

Wow! Could this be any easier? This is a cute beginner crochet necklace. This would be the perfect project to break out for the true beginner. At the end of this project they should have this simple stitch down to a science.

I had some bulk yarn that was gifted to me so I grabbed one to make this necklace. I did laugh when I read the directions. Chain until your yarn is gone. LOL! But sometimes the simplest things look the most amazing. I plan to attach a shabby/chic flower instead of a button to give it a softer look.

This makes a great change from giving a scarf or shawl as a gift. It is really easy to make for the beginner as they are made up from single chains and you can experiment with different yarns and hook sizes to change the look. It is really quick to make and so you can do lots of them in different colours to match a variety of outfits and it is easy to adapt the lengths to make it suitable for younger tweens. You can also accessorise them adding beads to the thread as you crochet to give some chains a different look.

I've seen this style of necklace out in the marketplace. I did not realize that it was something that could be made at home! This would make a great gift for a tween or teen girl. It's really a fashionable look. I love the fact that it's constructed from several lengths of chain stitch.

This is one of the first necklaces I ever crocheted. Since then I have made dozens of them. You can decorate these in so many ways. Instead of a button, you can use a pretty pin. Make the strands in different colors. Do a red/white and blue one for the summer holidays.
