I am thrilled to see this square is a NICE 12" in size. That is big enough to use one of these to make a pillow cover. Just add a solid color border for a couple extra rows all the way around for a nice 14" size. I would like to see a cool cross-body bag made from this motif, too!

This square reminds me more of layers of rick rack than anything else. The designer provides very well written instructions but youll have to refer back to the large photo at the top of the post as there arent any step by step photos. I also appreciate that she suggests easily available yarn in fairly common colors. If I cant find her exact yarn, at least I know what might be comparable.
