Sunflowers are an all time favorite for me because I love the seeds, lol. Really, they are a beautiful flower and I can recall a reproduction my Mom had in the kitchen of sunflowers in a vase. I loved that picture and in my adult years discovered it was a Vincent van Gogh painting. Wouldn't it be funny if it were the real thing, ha-ha.

If you have a hankering for this flowers of fun summer scarf please visit he designers site. This design shows a sunflower but there is also a pattern for a loopy flower. I do not know which one I like better. So I guess, I will have to make them both.

I should have known that Sara at Posh Pooch would come up with such a quirky project! I love the two different variations, and how easy would it be to swap out your own favorite flowers? Ive seen similar layered necklaces, but those Curly Cues at the bottom really make these stand out. This would be a fun project for my teen girls, too.

The "Flowers of Fun Summer Scarf" is a nice accessory addition to pair with a flowing tunic and leggings. It is a rather unexpected thing. Is it a scarf? Is it a necklace? Teens and 'tweens would love this. It is also a great project for THEM to make for themselves.
