Retro Illusion Baby Blanket
"I decided to use this stunning and yummy Red Heart Super Saver “Retro Stripes” to revamp my Optical Illusion Baby Blanket. I LOVE my first version… but not everyone wants to change colors THAT many times!!! The Red Heart Stripes worked up beautifully with this design… and with minimal yarn ends to weave in! The entire process of making this blanket was exciting. The color changes are different and unique with each square, preventing me from getting jaded."

This blanket is stunning. Not sure why this is considered retro. The colors are beautiful and can go for both a boy and girl. The directions show that the blanket is considered to be easy. Not sure that I would consider that as easy but the end result will be appreciated by the recipient.

This retro illusion baby blanket is memorizing. I love it. I just suppose if a few extra motifs were made this could easily become an afghan for an adult. I know I will enjoy using this new yarn to crochet this beautiful piece without a lot of yarn changes. Beautiful

The Red Heart Super Saver Retro Stripes yarn must be really new because I have not seen or heard about it before seeing this blanket. It is a beautiful yarn and I love these awesome colors. This will certainly brighten up any room that is lucky enough to get this blanket.
