The blanket portion is made using C2C (Corner-2-Corner) and then I added a beautiful border to really make this project radiate elegance. With 6 of the Sugarwheels your finished blanket will measure approximately 50” x 50”. You can easily leave off the border, or continue with making the C2C portion larger and/or the border larger. Simple and elegant all in one."

I love the look of this Forestry C2C Blanket. I just looks so beautiful with the yarn used. I need to find the Bee Sugar Wheel yarn. The Border really makes this one stand out and look so elegant. I have saved this one and will come back to it when I find the yarn. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet blanket pattern.

When I see the corner to corner blanket made up without the border, it just doesn't have the same punch- the same impact- as it does when that beautiful and delicate border is added. I think it makes the whole blanket. The closeup of the Yarn Bee Sugar Wheel looks high quality. I have not worked with this yarn quite yet, but I will get there!

As lovely as the body of this blanket is, that border is a true work of art. The designer has made some alterations to the usual Corner to Corner stitch pattern, so do be aware of that before starting. That Sugar Wheel cake yarn has some lovely colors, but I have some pink to wine to maroon that I would like to try.
