"The Woodland Owl Granny Square is a part of the Woodland Afghan Series by Maria's Blue Crayon. It is comprised of 10 Woodland themed squares joined together with solid granny squares to complete an afghan. The Woodland Owl Granny Square is a great addition to the Woodland Afghan, but may also be used alone for an Owl themed blanket. Safety eyes are used for this pattern, but can easily be substituted with a french knot for the eyes."
Crochet HookE/4 or 3.5 mm hook, G/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Ive loved owls ever since I found out they were the symbol of my favorite Greek, Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. This little appliqu is a cinch to work up as its mostly just circles. If you can work a Magic Circle, you can tackle this adorable little pattern. Be advisedthe pattern is for the Owl only the granny square is a separate link.
