I normally shy away from most afghans but this is just spectacular! This throw has several things going for it, the least of all being a Moogly Blog project. Its also available to print out or downloadable. There arent any photos but the pattern is so easy and repetitive that the finished project photo is enough to guide you. If youve never worked anything by this creative designer, dont be afraid to start with this!

I'm going to try this in shades of green. My boss lost his 10 year old daughter to a brain aneurysm in October, and she loved hearts and the color green. She was also an organ donor, and the color for organ donation is green! I'm going to attempt this and if it turns out I'll give it to them.

What a lovely tribute. We lost our eldest son in an accident many years ago, and it gave us a lot of comfort to know he was an organ donor.

I've always liked the look of circular afghans, but I've been too intimidated to try making one. This looks really straightforward, though! Can't wait to try it.
