I like these Lily Sugarn Cream colors of red, white and blue. On this photo, the colors are a little muted but still beautiful as a representation of the American flag colors. The handle is just the right size and I know I can fit all of my beach necessities inside. Thanks for the free pattern.

What a stylish crochet bag. I love the wave design and the colors red, white and blue are just perfect for the summer.

This is a nice project for my senior ladies wanting to work with the Ripple stitch but not necessarily commit to an afghan. It consists of four panels and a base, so it can be worked a piece at a time and not feel so overwhelming. Even stitching the bag together can be a separate session. The only potential problem I can see is having to work two yarns together. Some of my ladies have dexterity issues.

Are you supposed to continue with 2 strands throughout the whole project or is it just for the chain?
