Puff Stitch Snowman Baby Hat Pattern
"I'm normally a total scrooge about the holidays, especially when people start getting ready for Christmas before advent! But, The Preemie Projects Holiday Drive got even my bah-humbug-self excited about Christmas early. We Iowans have enjoyed a mild autumn with no snow on the ground yet, but usually these snowman hats are very November-appropriate! They are very nice to make out of a soft acrylic yarn. The little popcorn stitches give the hats a lovely texture to work with. Hats are worked back and forth, joining each row with slip stitch. The single-crochet popcorn stitches are worked from the wrong side and the stitches puff out to the right side."

I love this snowman baby hat!! My sister is having her first baby in October, and I am definitely going to be making one of these adorable hats for him! I cant wait for him to get here so he can wear this! It really looks easy to make, so hopefully I will have plenty of time to get it done!

The popcorn stitching gives these hats a very nice texture that actually does resemble little snowballs. These are adorable and the kiddos will love them to wear when they go out to play in the snow. These will be perfect for my nieces that live up North as we dont have snow in Florida.

This hat is just adorable! It would be a Yarn Hog if you made anything larger than a Child size, but for a baby hat, its just about right. And you can guarantee no one else will have anything like it because I havent seen anything like it in the stores! I love how its very unisex, too! I have a few toddlers Im thinking of with this one.
