This looks like such an easy crochet baby hat. I am looking for easy hats to make for my nephew, who was just born, and my own baby due in May. I cant wait for him or her to arrive, to make a bunch of little baby things! There are so many things you can do to embellish this hat also.

There is a link for a nice video to the tutorial for my seamless method. I love leaning new thing that make my work looks so much better. A great way to use up the extra yarn from other projects. This is one of the projects that kept me sane last year. My husband spent just over a month in the hospital recovering from a cardiac event. I lost count of how many I made. I just stuffed half a dozen skeins upright into my Grab and Go bag so I could just let the yarn feed from the center. I donated the hats to a womens shelter, and Im happy to report my husband is back to his old self again.

Very basic, very easy, doesn't take much yarn, less than a skein, and is cute? Yep, it fills all of my requirements as far as a project. You can add ear flaps, and for girls a cute pompom on top. I made one that looked like a cupcake with a cherry on top!

Love this easy pattern, basic beanie that's great for a boy but you can dress it up with flowers or bows for a girl too! Love the look of the striped hat in the picture as well!
