Elena Hunt

When Elena Hunt was 10, her grandmother taught her to crochet, and a granny square pattern was her first project. Her name was Beatrice Ryan Ramshaw- a tiny Irish powerhouse! All of Elena's memories include her crocheting things like tablecloths, slippers, doilies, and blankets. As a young woman, the bug got Elena, and she began crocheting and hasn't stopped! Now she has 40 years of experience and many beautiful projects under her belt.

To honor the craft she taught her, in February of 2013 Elena took the opportunity to start her own crochet website that she named after her grandmother... Beatrice Ryan Designs! Shortly after starting her website, Elena began publishing her own free crochet patterns! Elena's Amazing Grace Free Pattern Series is dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness and has blessed her greatly.

Elena I like you had a Grandmother who taught me to crochet. She was a wonderful crocheter . I want to thank you for your dedication to breast cancer awareness. I have stage 4 breast cancer and thank you for your dedication.
