Crochet The Strawberry Stitch
"Spring at this very moment is in full bloom, which is always accompanied by one of my favourite times of year; strawberry season! The Strawberry Stitch has such a quirky and whimsical texture to it. You’ll immediately notice how this combination of stitches creates an adorable “strawberry patch” design, as the green resembles the leaves, whilst the red bobbles are the delicious berries... Just imagine all those vibrant baby blankets and pretty scarves you could crochet using this stitch?"

For such an easy stitch to work up, this really makes an impact. I skimmed through the instructions, but what I really wanted to see was the instructional video posted on YouTube (embedded at the bottom of the page). Watching the video, this stitch sequence really couldnt be easier. I did notice some other versions posted, but I like Olivias version better.

I'm not sure where I would use this Crochet The Strawberry Stitch pattern yet, but I like it! I love strawberries and this this tutorial for the strawberry stitch is great! She even has a video showing how it's done for the ones who need to see it done, it helps.. I have saved this for when I can think of what to make with it. Maybe a nice wash cloth for mom for mothers' day?? Just thinking out loud. Thank you for sharing this free crochet tutorial.
