Starburst Poncho
"Here is my free pattern for my Starburst Poncho. This poncho is made in one piece. I used the C2C (corner-2-corner) method with Half Double Crochet (HDC) stitches. I used 2 cakes of Lionbrand's Mandala yarn (DK weight) and a size 6mm hook. This will fit a size small to a large and is easily adjustable to fit multiple sizes. It worked up rather quickly. The pattern is repetitive so you can watch TV while working on it and not having to focus so much on the directions."
NotesI really liked that this was made in one piece. Simple, cute and versatile pattern.

She works her crochet patterns like I used to, without a pattern and just off the top of her head! That was the old me. I used to think it was a bother to follow a pattern, but I am finding there are so many amazing patterns here- and free! I'd like to extend the collar on this nice colorful poncho and turn it into a big slouchy cowl. Her color choice is agreeable for me, though! Just two balls of Cakes or Mandala!
