Azul V Mesh Poncho
"This beautiful ombre poncho is sure to compliment a variety of casual outfits. The pattern is super simple as it’s created with two rectangles that are seamed together. Because it’s not as long as a typical poncho, it’s comfortable and practical for everyday wear and serves the same purpose as a wrap. It’s also light and easy to tote around or pack in a suitcase for vacation! Since it’s made entirely with the v-stitch, the pattern makes for a perfect project to throw in your beach bag or crochet while watching your fave shows. Using a slightly larger crochet hook than what is typically used for worsted weight yarn lends to the open “meshy” feel of the poncho. Add the fringe for a boho flair, or leave it without for a clean, modern look."

In my eyes, a girl could have one in each color of the rainbow. Dare I say, I could even work it with two to three contrasting colors like an oatmeal or taupe as the main color with a black and a mocha. For me, I gotta have the fringe. It is what makes the piece unique. I happen to use the v-stitch quite a bit in my apparel!

Funny, but I want to sing, like a rindestone cowboy. (Cra-cra right?) Well I think the fringes on the front are making me feel like a cowboy - excuse me cowgirl. Not that that is my favorite apparel but I love this. The fringes are so different and makes this poncho stand out.

Wow how cool is this Azul V Mesh Poncho! I love the hippy look of it and the blue jean color is just great! I have to find the yarn, hoping I don't have to order it on-line, I want it now. LOL The written pattern is very easy to follow and understand. This one will work up quickly and will be just in time for early fall. Love the open mesh design in this poncho. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

Done it light weight yarn this would totally work for a cool Florida Winter evening. Most covers are too heavy and you can't stand wearing them. This would just be great to take along for when there's just a dip in the temp. I have a feeling I will be making more than one!

This Azul V Mesh Poncho is absolutely beautiful! And I just HAVE to find that color yarn too! Using a 6mm crochet hook and this lovely open mesh design it should work up really quickly. I know our teenage daughter is going to want one too and I will probably have to make hers first because she has no patience, lol!

Love the look of this poncho. The added fringe gives it a boho look. I think this would look really good if you added a few beads throughout to the ends of the fringe. It will compliment almost any casual outfit especially jeans and a tee. The back looks a little plain so I think a little fringe back there too would liven it up. A girl wants to look good coming and going after all.

This Azul V Mesh Poncho is so very simple. What really makes the poncho is the added fringe. I like the color selection but I am considering using something a little more bold to show off the fringe. Thank you for the free pattern.
