I can not recall the reason, but my husband and I were just talking about the cookie monster just the other day and then I ran across these. Right now, we have not need for Sesame Street in our home as the kids are too old for these. I hope the first grand baby will get to be able to wear my favorite, Cookie monster.

These are just too cute! I remember watching Sesame Street when I was growing up. Back in the day during school the lower grades would gather in the library to watch PBS Sesame Street. That was the best fun. These took me way back.

These are absolutely DARLING! I love her designs for all the faces and the hats can be made in all sizes. Just so sweet!! I can see so many of these being made in my home soon. Sesame Street has been around for ages and everyone has their memories and the one they love the most so it will be a toss up on who gets which one. I may be making more than one set of these. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet Sesame Street Hat collection.

Oh these hats are delightful! Each one looks like the character without a doubt! I have to confess that Big Bird has always been my favorite with Oscar the Grouch a close second. I would definitely make up the whole set though! A set of them will be perfect for grandchildren along with a Sesame Street book to read together. Maybe the older grandchildren would even like to choose wearing the appropriate character hat for the same book! Thanks for the free pattern!

As some have commented below with issues, the link is not dead. I clicked to get the pattern and it took me directly to the page with the pattern. These are oh so cute hats. I cant wait to try them and see how mine looks. What little kid wouldnt love to wear one or all of these hats?

The link IS a dead end as posted above. The blog was rerouted, and the patterns are here http//girlinair.com/2010/07/15/how-to-crochet-sesa == me-street-hats/

Link works fine for me. On this page it has ," Click for Pattern". Do this and then follow directions.

Is there any way to print just the pattern and not have to waste ink with all the pages of comments at the end?

This is a lousy link!! It sends you to a home page where you have to wade through a bunch of nonsense. Never did find the crochet pattern

Yes this same person is listed on the internet and no where does it say it's original. Give credit to people that share and try to appreciate the gifts you are offered in life.

How do I go back and find a hat in this site for a little girl that is made for Halloween? I can not go back to the site.
