This pattern is so very nice and I want to try this with my mariner baby soft yarn. As I understand this pattern it is done from top. It says I have to start from 64 stitches. Please do clarify my doubt. Should I do front yoke and then back yoke and join it in-armhole and do in circles? Thank you. Savitri

It has been a while since I have make anything with thread. The projects that are made with thread tend to take longer because of the size of the thread but it is well worth it. I like this design but I would like something with a little more "flounce" as my Granny would call it.

I am not really sure why this is marked as a vintage top. It really looks modern to me. I love that the designer decided to use coats and clark crochet thread instead of yarn. Perhaps that could be the reason. At any rate, I love this pattern.

I was really shocked to see that his top is made from crochet thread. It has been a while since I have been even looked at thread as a medium to crochet with and was not aware that colors like this were available. I am really excited about making this vintage top and I just can not wait to get started.
