The Heart Lines Shrug
"The Heart Lines shrug is a practical cocoon cardi which is fun and easy to make using simple stitches and a little colour work (but not so much that the ends will drive you nuts!). Use bright colours as pictured to create a bold look or stick to neutrals or monochrome This is a great pattern for beginner crocheters as it uses only simple stitches, a straightforward stitch repeat and easy construction. It’s also a perfect project for stitchflixing! The pattern is one size but is simple to adjust if needed."

I am guessing the name Heart Lines shrug comes from maybe a heartbeat on a machine- the red lines on a graph. Interesting name. But it looks so comfy and cozy on a cold fall day, which I know is just around the corner, eventually. The turquoise is a great color that is flattering for just about anyone. I have been wanting to try one of these cocoon sweaters with a small sleeve for some time now. This particular pattern reads the easiest for me, and I think I will add this to my personal list of "must make" garments.

This pattern or I should say this shrug is a hybrid part cocoon and part shrug. It is a one size fits most accessory and instructions are only in one size. It is made with basic stitching and three yarn colors so it would not be too difficult for a beginner to master. Color changes and sewing in the ends looks like the most difficult part of this.
