Brightly colored yarn makes this Seed Stitch Summer Purse perfect for the sunny days of summer. The seed stitch is used to complete this free crochet purse pattern, which gives it a pretty, scalloped look. It measures about 8 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 5 inches tall, so it's just the right size for young girls to carry with them to the beach, the mall, or out for ice cream. Crochet purses do not get much cuter than this!

This is a wonderful practice piece for working a Seed Stitch project. The designer walks the crafter through every part of the project using well written text and large close up photos. The designer also gives detailed instructions on how to make the base so it lies flat. Thats one skill that can be used in any number of other projects. This little scrapbuster is a wonderful find to add to my pattern collection.
