I am loving the blue slippers with the rainbow cuff! Those are so fun! Much better than a plain, dumpy and frumpy looking pair of outdated hand made slippers. No offense! -) I could really make some good use out of these both for me AND my aunt! I may not use the button...haven't decided on that yet. Half-double crochets are fun to make for me.

What a versatile pattern! So many, many ways you could do these up and the artist gave us a head start with their pictures! You can use different solid colors, multiple color combinations, unique buttons or even pom-poms! I have to admit that this pattern is a bit beyond me but I'm working my way up to it. I'm very intrigued with the star stitch and look forward to adding it to my crocheting repertoire!

Very cute slippers. Everyone expects there slippers for Christmas. I think this pattern is one of my favorite. The pattern has a much more modern look to it. There are so many darling buttons out now that you can make it special for each person!

The star stitch is a new one for me and it would have been much easier if the directions for it had been published on the same page as this pattern but, once found on the toddlers slipper pattern it was simple and easy to follow along with. The colors on all the slippers shown are so bright and cheerful. Thanks for the free pattern.

This is a very interesting pattern, If you don't know how to do the Star stitch, you have to go to her other pattern for the children slipper page to learn how to do the stitch. She does have a video for this stitch as well. The reason I gave 4 starts on this is because You have to go to the other pattern to find out how to do the star stitch. I wish it was all on one page. I will be trying this and pray it works out.. Thank you for this free pattern that will teach me a new stitch.
