Kinga Erdem

Kinga Erdem is a multicultural soul; a Hungarian girl born and raised in Romania, living for 7 years in Germany with her husband and their 2 little children. She learned the basics of crochet as a child from a good friend of her mom's and later in school. It was only a few years ago that it became her passion.

Kinga was a knitter before. She used to knit a lot, but crochet is so much more fun for her. She can create so many lovely things that she couldn’t make before with knitting needles. During her pregnancy with her little girl, Kinga took the time to watch crochet videos in English on YouTube. She familiarized herself with all the terminology used and learned how to read patterns in English. Then Kinga taught herself to write her own patterns.

She created her Facebook Page to store pictures of her work, but it quickly became so much more! Living so far away from her birth country, relatives and friends, Kinga was so happy to discover people from all around the world who shared the same passion for crochet as she does. She started sharing links to free patterns and video tutorials with them. Now she has over 360.000 people from all around the world who like her Facebook page!
