I LOVE the idea of making this scarf in your team colors, be it college or pro. And the price of the two skeins of bulky yarn is a very reasonable price to make more than one gift! My college colors are red and white, as are my son's high school. I just completed a bottom edging on a sweater using the ribbed half double crochet. It gives it a nice and stretchy effect.

Yummm, perfect for me for winter when I am mostly working outdoors! So chunky and warm and because it is crocheted using a 10mm hook it will work up really fast which is always great. I just LOVE scarves and cowls in winter so any nice new pattern is always much appreciated!

I love it, love it, love it! By using bulky yarn and an N size hook, this would work up in no time flat. I appreciate how the author suggests doing it up in sports team colors, because that was my exact thought as well. Living near several different colleges and universities, this style of scarf is always in demand come football season.
